About Us: Marie Deslourdes Senobe

Marie Deslourdes Senobe is a visionary leader and compassionate advocate for children’s rights, health, and education in Haiti. As the founder of the Latramblais Foundation for Children, Marie has dedicated over a decade to addressing the needs of impoverished communities, particularly in the village of Latramblais, located in Ouest, Haiti, just northeast of Port-au-Prince.

With a Diploma in Theology from the Séminaire de Théologie Évangélique Néhémie, awarded in 2019, Marie combines her strong faith with a practical approach to community development. A nurse by profession, she recognized the increasing plight of vulnerable children in Haiti, many of whom lack access to education, healthcare, and basic nutrition. Her observations and deep concern led to the creation of the Latramblais Foundation, which strives to combat the growing number of children living on the streets by providing them with a safe environment, education, and family support.

Under Marie’s leadership, the Foundation emphasizes transparency, neutrality, and inclusivity, partnering with global supporters to fund critical projects like schools, hospitals, and nutrition programs. By promoting diversity, equity, and the inclusion of community voices, the Foundation not only addresses immediate needs but also ensures sustainable development in Latramblais and neighboring villages.

Marie’s vision for the Latramblais Foundation is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment and equal access to opportunities. She and her team are committed to protecting children’s rights, offering them pathways to brighter futures, and expanding their efforts to help nearby villages once significant milestones are achieved in Latramblais.
